Hollis DCX + 200LX Regulator

Every feature is designed with high performance and superior manufacturing at every step. The 200LX can be converted from a right-handed hose configuration to a left-handed hose configuration, in a manner of minutes. The valve of the 200LX is “PVD” Industrial Plated. PVD is a super-hard coating that is by far the most durable coating available today. Superior quality that will out last any traditional plating. The Front metal ring, packing nut and inhalation knob are also “PVD” Plated. The DCX is surrounded by the most durable coating available today, DLC. The DCX was been redesigned to reduce weight while improving angle of LP and HP ports to maximize hoses routing. Hollis has made it an industry standard to include the 5th LP port making the DCX the diver’s first choice for back-mounted doubles, sidemount or even for the recreational diver that demands the same performance as a technical diver. All LX regulators come standard with MiFlex® hoses and orthodontic mouthpieces with dual colour tabs. It comes standard in both YOKE or DIN configuration.

First stage:

• Lighter weight

• DLC “industrial” plating - DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) is a super-hard coating that is by far the most durable coating available today. Superior quality that will out last any traditional finish

• Unique over-balanced, diaphragm design - As the diver descends, the over-balancing feature allows the medium pressure gas in the hose to increase at a rate faster than ambient. This results in superior performance at depth

• 2 HP ports and 5 LP ports for optimum hose routing

• 5th port allows for side-mount or twin cylinder set ups

• An environmental dry system keeps water out of the main spring chamber thus preventing ice buildup and keeping salt and contamination out

• Suitable for cold-water use

Second stage:

• Pneumatically balanced PVD plated brass valve results in smooth, easy breathing

• Reversible demand valve, can be converted from right-handed hose configuration to left-handed hose configuration

• Diver adjustable inhalation knob, allows diver to customise inhalation effort

• Adjustable Dive/Pre-Dive switch: Large Venturi lever has a soft rubber grip, which makes it easy to locate and use

• Ergonomic exhaust channels bubbles away from field of view and reduces exhaust effort

• Improved orthodontic mouthpiece with dual colour tabs

• PVD plated stainless steel metal ring, adjustable knob and Dive/Pre-Dive end cap

• MiFlex® braided hose

Octopus:

• The 150LX, similar in design to the 200LX but without the PVD Plating. The 150LX delivers great performance at a moderate price. All LX regulators come standard with MiFlex® hoses and orthodontic mouthpieces with dual color tabs.
